MEET FARZANA’S FAMILY.
Just like thousands of Afghan women, Farzana spent her childhood fleeing violence and war, and never had the chance to receive an education. Despite the challenges she’s faced in life, Farzana remains resilient and longs to learn English so she can provide opportunities for her three children that she never had herself.
She just had back surgery and is recovering in the hospital. This month we will assist her with buying groceries for her three children and helping with her rent.
Our goal is to raise $1000 to assist with her rent and groceries while she in the hospital.

Here in the U.S. Farzana is safe, but she faces the challenges of raising her children and adjusting to a new country on her own. We formed a Hope Tribe to come alongside Farzana and her family, meet their needs in tangible ways, and show her that she’s not alone. Our team has already provided furniture, a washer/dryer, thrown birthday parties for the kids and befriended the family. Our goal now is to raise $200/month to provide food for the family.
